For "foodies", Torrevieja is a
gastronomic paradise with a
mouth-watering variety of restaurants of
all kinds. Along with the local fresh
fish restaurants and typical cuisine of
the region you'll find a wealth of
international restaurants - Italian,
French, German, Chinese, Indian,
Mexican, Serbian, Croatian…to name but a
few!
The prices for food and drinks in
Torrevieja are very good value compared with
prices back home.
Here's a selection of a few
quite popular restaurants, as you can
see there's something for all tastes.

Restaurante El
Muelle (general) - Paseo Maritimo Juan
Aparicio
Nicely located on
Torrevieja's sea front, and with an
attractive dark red colour scheme. A
wide selection of dishes ranging from
pizzas to quality steaks and seafood.
Typical meal for two would range from 28
to 35 euros.
Pizza Nostra
(pizza/general) -
Plaza Castelar
The central location, good quality food and
excellent service make this restaurant a
winner every time! Although specialising
in pizzas there's a varied selection of
dishes ranging from swordfish steak to
pasta. A piece of advice if you plan to
go on a Saturday night... "arrive
early!"

Vegeteriano (vegetarian) - Calle Pedro
Lorca
Generally speaking
vegetarians aren't that well catered for
in Spain however here you'll find a good
quality restaurant centrally located
that does just that! It's been in
business for many years now and a meal
for two would cost anything between 15
and 25 euros.
Nuevo Siglo
(Chinese) - Calle Maestro Francisco
Casanovas
One of several
Chinese restaurants in Torrevieja,
relatively new and situated slightly out
of the town centre. Unlike in the UK the
set menu price is for everyone in your
group as opposed to "per person". Set
menu for 3 is 33.75 euros, for 4 is
45.95 euros and 5 is 56.95 euros .
Taj Mahal (Indian)
- Calle Los Emilios
One of the few
Indian restaurants in Torrevieja.
Unusual in that it's located away from
the town centre in a largely residential
area. Typical meal for two would be
between 30 and 35 euros.
La Pergola
(Italian) -
Paseo Maritimo Juan
Aparicio
Again nice location
on Torrevieja's sea front, further down
from Restaurant El Muelle going towards
Playa del Cura (one of Torrevieja's
three beaches). A quality meal for two
at this Italian restaurant can be had
for under 30 euros.
Buffet Libre
(general) -
Calle Almudena
This is a help
yourself buffet. Pay at the door as you
go in then you can eat as much as you
like. Great value and great quality.
Adults pay 7.50 euros and children 5
euros, although drinks aren't included
in that price. Food items range from
paella to all types of fish and meats.
Very popular with the Spanish in
Torrevieja.
Casa Paco (seafood)
- Calle Canoningo Torres
A break from the norm but again
great value and great quality. Casa Paco is a long running
open air establishment.
Paco specialises in freshly grilled seafood mainly sardines
and large king prawns. Needless to say it's popular with the Spanish.
